(KMOV) - After a big hearty meal it's easy to skip the deserts unless you're at Sidney Street in Benton Park.

Sidney Street Café ranks as one of St. Louis' most beloved restaurants and is known for its decadent, rich food that's painstakingly prepared.
When the owners decided to add a pastry chef to their staff, the same attention to detail was paid in building Christy Augustine's brand new pastry kitchen.
Long time favorites like the Turtle Brownie remain on Sidney Street's dessert menu, but Christy is introducing creative pastries that reflect what's in season.
Her Olive Oil Pound Cake is given a bright garnish of candied citrus peels.
Christy's duo of adult hot chocolates satisfies any chocolate lover's craving.
Another wintry indulgence is the Oatmeal Stout Cake that's served with butterscotch pudding and ice cream.
Don't miss the Sweet Potato Beignets.
Beignets start every meal at Sidney Street, so it's only fitting that now you can end your meal with these puffy pastries.
