Chesterfield, MO (KMOV) - This week, Sauce Magazine takes you to a place where you can belly up to the bar to watch the chef prepare your meal, and even speak to him while he's cooking.

Veritas Gateway to Food & Wine located in Dierbergs Plaza in Chesterfield is a kitchen store and wine shop known for its cooked to order lunches and once weekly wine bar.

Lunch includes such delicacies as Italian crepes, traditional salad nicoise with ortiz Spanish tuna and the grilled cheese panini.

You can either pick out your meal for the evening and then sample the wines, or head to the samples first and talk to owner David Stitt.

Stitt will walk you through the evening's selections.

The menu for wine bar changes every week, and is held every Thursday evening.

Also, every first Saturday of the month, plates of wine and friendly food are prepared for guests.

You can sample the wines that have been opened for the evening, and learn about wine as you sip and mingle.
