Certified Sommelier Stanley Browne opened up Robust Wine Shoppe and Café in Webster Groves as a way to share his passion for wine and food.

Browne developed the ‘robust factor’ as a way to help categorize wines and make them more easily understood by people that might not be able to choose wine by type of grape.

Robust has a retail area where customers can come in and browse the many bottle offerings, but take some time to stay for a bite to eat. In the wine bar and cafe, you can sample wine by the glass and the menu was designed with pairing in mind, with all of the wine served at the correct temperature. Even dessert wines get paired on Robust's menu.
