KMOV) - Not every sports bar is just a sports bar. Lester’s in Ladue uses some east coast flavors to improve a Midwestern bar and grill.

At first glance, you can't help but notice the rows of televisions with audio controls at each booth, the massive bar and the enormous collection of sports memorabilia.

But this is not your average sports bar.  Chef Brad Isaak is determined to take his cuisine to a new level.

One of their signature items is the triple decker. That's because the triple decker encompasses 24 ounces of meat!

Chef Isaak also knows a thing or two about bar b que. The ribs are smoked for 4 and a half hours and seasoned to perfection.

And what's a plate of ribs without a pulled pork sandwich?

For a lighter fare, give the turkey cobb salad a try.

Chef Isaak says this particular salad is one of their top sellers.  All of the dressings are made fresh daily.

So if you mix sports with some really fantastic comfort food, you get a winner at Lester's in Ladue.
