(KMOV) -- When you think of the Ritz-Carlton, you probably think of luxury, but not necessarily fine dining.

The live music, sushi bar and lounge are just the beginning of a beautiful evening at the Ritz.

The true gem is the Ritz-Carlton Grill.

Chef Michael Mandola has only been in St. Louis for a few months, but already, he knows what St. Louisans desire.

Among his specialties is the jumbo lump crab cake served on top of a smoked bacon, warm fingerling potato and leek salad.

The ahi tuna follows a sushi theme. The tuna is seared and served on mirin scented sticky rice with a stuffed crab claw to top it off.

For steak lovers, you really should try the beef tenderloin. The beef is grill then topped with caramelized onion & cambozola cheese crust. Served with truffle mashed potatoes, it puts this dish in a class of its own.

For dessert, try the traditional lemon tart or the chev cheesecake. The goat cheese really is a treat and topped with a balsamic vinegar ice cream, this is something you probably won't find anywhere else.
