(KMOV) -- What started as a wine bar is now a popular dining experience.

Chocolate gooey butter cake with sweet basil ice cream and a boysenberry foam
Take a stroll along main street in Edwardsville and you can't miss Erato wine bar.
But it's not just a wine bar anymore.
With the new location, owner Tim Foley acquired one of the areas more creative chefs, Kevin Willman.
Willman is a connoisseur of seasonal cooking which is reflected in the ever-changing menu.
Among his signature dishes are the scallops cooked in smoked paprika and mustard seed served with a slaw.
Another hit, lamb rolled with carrots and asparagus.
This dish is served on a spoon bread.
The lamb is local and tastes very different than a New Zealand lamb.
To keep with St. Louis traditions, they have a chocolate gooey butter cake.
Kevin's take on this dessert includes sweet basil ice cream and a boysenberry foam.
Erato in Edwardsville has expanded beyond the wine bar to bring you local food for lunch and dinner.
