Back in the early 1900's, Ferguson’s Train Depot shut its doors.

However, the depot is open again with a much tastier purpose.

In the heart of Ferguson, sits Whistle Stop, a custard and sandwich shop wrapped up into one.

The biggest seller is the custard.

With sundaes, cones and concretes, you have a lot to choose from. 

That includes the flavor of the day.

Pile it up in a homemade cone and you're ready to go.

Just about everything on the menu has a train theme.

And if you're not in the mood for ice cream, whistle stop has quite an array of soup, sandwiches and salads.

While you wait, check out the exhibits set up by Ferguson's Historical Society.

It includes a working telegraph machine.

With a little bit of history and a whole lot of great food the Whistle Stop is the place to stop the next time you're in Ferguson.
