ST. LOUIS (KMOV)- Sauce Magazine's Catherine Neville shows us how a once popular neighborhood bar is now a "rock 'n' roll pizza bar."

 

She takes us to south St. Louis for this week's Sauce on the Street.

 

Start your meal off with garlic/tomato bruscetta or try the delicate eggplant manicotti.

 

There's a good selection of filling sandwiches, too, like the chicken with roasted pepper, where roasted garlic gives the oven-roasted sandwich a pungent sweetness.

 

Calzones are also available and some offer surprising flavor combinations, like the prosciutto with artichoke hearts and apricot mustard.

 

But pizza's the star of this menu and again, you can expect to be surprised. Try the happy as a clam or the French connection.
