(KMOV)-- Miso has been open for 8 years and in the past has been known more for is scene than for the quality of its cuisine. But things have changed and the new chef, Eliott Harris, has revamped the menu, focusing on super high quality and pure flavors. If you want to get the full flavor of Eliott's fish, get sashimi or the fresco.
If you're in the mood for a roll, Miso's menu offers innovation and well balanced flavors and textures. Take the papasan, where a roll filled with spicy crab is topped with striped bass, a chili aioli and yes, a jalapeno wafer.
The clover roll is more nuanced, with the cilantro adding an herbal note.
And if you're just not a fan of sushi, order from Miso's pan-Asian menu. Try the yakatori or the shichimi seared scallops.
Miso's revamped menu is a welcome addition to the sushi scene in St. Louis.
