(KMOV) -- Tactical teams were set up outside a north St. Louis home for several hours after a woman reported being held hostage inside Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, a home on the 10100 block of Clairmont was surrounded by officers after a woman called police claiming to be held inside by an unknown man.
The home's windows and doors are boarded up as the suspect was reportedly cooking meth inside.
After several failed attempts at communicating with someone inside the home, authorities entered the residence to find no one inside.
The investigation into the report is still on going.
