According to police, just after 12 p.m. the suspect broke into a truck in the parking lot of the Maplewood Commons shopping center while the victim was in shopping at the business.
Upon exiting the business and walking toward his vehicle, the victim noticed his truck driving away. The victim chased his vehicle on foot as it circled the parking lot, and when the suspect stopped, the owner jumped into the bed of his truck.
