Two in custody after police chase ends in crash

(KMOV.com) -- Police in Beverly Hills took two men into custody following a chase that ended in a crash Monday.

According to authorities, a male suspect robbed a man outside a car wash at Lucas and Hunt near Natural Bridge.

There is a pharmacy near the car wash, and the suspect allegedly displayed a weapon and demanded perscription medication before fleeing the scene.  

Beverly Hills police followed the truck , which fled into north St. Louis. According to officers, the driver hit speeds over 90 miles per hour.  

The vehicle crashed  in a backyard near St. Louis and Vandeventer. Two men were taken into custody while police searched the vehicle.
