ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A pregnant woman killed after being shot in the head in a domestic shooting that happened Tuesday evening in Lafayette Square around 5:30 has been identified as 29-year-old Danielle  Burnett-Famous.

Officers said the shooting took place in the WireWorks Lofts parking lot and injured both a man and a woman. The victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment.  The male victim was shot in the back.

Police say they are looking for the woman’s ex-husband as a person of interest. They have not released his identity.

Residents in the WireWorks Lofts say they’re upset the gunman got inside the gated area in the first place. However, they say the gate code has not been changed in a long time, and that’s likely how the suspect got in.

The victim was 14 weeks pregnant. Her unborn child did not survive.
