ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Police have charged a man with the murder of Andre Hathaway whose body was found floating in a north St. Louis creek on July 8.
The Circuit Attorney's Office issued warrants for 2nd Degree Murder, 1st degree Robbery and 2 counts Armed Criminal Action against 29-year-old Bryan Shelton.
Police say the Hathaway's body was discovered in the Moline Creek off Riverview on Wednesday between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. He was 29 years old.
An investigation revealed that Hathaway suffered massive trauma to the head.
Shelton's bond was set at $500,000 cash only.
