(KMOV) – A man pleaded guilty on Tuesday for his involvement in the robbery and death of an 85-year-old woman in Belleville.
DeQuan Barnes is one of three people accused of robbing the elderly woman, placing her in the trunk of her own car then setting fire to the car, killing the victim.
If convicted, Barnes could face up to 60 years in prison for the 2011 murder.
He made statements in court about the involvement of the two other people.
With the plea, Barnes can’t appeal the case.
