JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Police are looking for a 16-year-old Jefferson City girl who went missing during the weekend.

Police say the parents of Kiera McLellan reported her missing after she didn't come home Saturday night and didn't report to work on Sunday.

The Jefferson City News-Tribune reports police on Monday called in the Special Weapons and Tactical Team to conduct a ground search for the girl.

Detectives and school resource officers are going door-to-door near Riverside Drive in Jefferson City, where Kiera was last seen. The SWAT team is searching nearby wooded areas.

Keira is described as white, 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighing 112 pounds. She was last seen wearing a cream sweater, blue jeans, black shirt, white belt and black moccasins.
