Foristell man charged with breaking in, doing major damage to car dealership

(KMOV.com) –Just before 12:30 a.m., O’Fallon police received a hangup call from 500 Auto Mall Drive.

When officers arrived, they arrested 21-year-old Jacob Kowalik as he exited.

According to authorities, Kowalik, from Foristell, entered the dealership unlawfully and proceeded to break windows, damage three vehicles, a flat screen television, computer monitors, computer hard drives, keyboards, a computer desk and drywall.

Kowalik is charged with second degree burglary and first degree property damage. He is being held on $30,000 bond.
