Worker's head becomes stuck in machine at Pevely production company

PEVELY, Mo. (KMOV) – A worker is hospitalized after becoming caught in some industrial equipment Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a female worker's  head became trapped In a bottle-labeling machine at the Saint Gobain Container Company around 3:40 p.m.

Dunklin Fire Protection responded to the scene and firefighters were able to free her from the machine. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Saint-Gobain is located at 1500 St. Gobain Drive, just outside Pevely.  According to their website, they are the largest building material company producing high-performance material and glass containers.
