ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – Police are searching for suspect who broke into a north St. Louis home and robbed a man and woman early Thursday morning.
According to authorities, the couple was at their home in the 3900 block of N. Florissant Avenue when they heard a knock at their door around 1:30 a.m.
As the male resident opened the door, three black men ran into the home, forcing the residents into a bathroom. Police say two of the three suspects were armed.
The suspects began to run through the home, stealing jewelry, cash and a cell phone from the residence. They fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The residents were not injured.
The suspects were described to police as black males. One suspect is approximately 28 to 29 years of age, 5-foot 6-inches to 5-foot 8-inches tall, 170 pounds with a dark complexion and a mustache. He was wearing a black hooded jacket during the robbery.
The second suspect is appoximately 19 to 20 years of age, 5-foot 5-inches to 5-foot 6-inches tall, 150-155 pounds with a medium complexion, clean shaven, with long braids.
The third suspect was wearing a ski mask.
Police continue to search for the three suspects. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call authorities.
