(KMOV) -- Four people have been charged for their alleged role in a fight at St. Charles West High School on Feb. 8.
Trevon Dyer, James Tillman, Sheila Holman and Chevayon Applewhite, all 17, were charged Wednesday with misdemeanor trespass and peace disturbance.
Police said Dyer, a student at the school at the time, propped open a secure door and let Tillman, Holman and Applewhite into the building.
The suspect then got into a brawl involving several students. The fight was quickly diffused and no injuries were reported.
Superintendent Jeff Marion says 11 students were suspended afterwards. One female student involved in the fight was treated at a hospital and released. Six of the 11 suspended students are female.
Marion said the fight was the result of a Twitter conversation.
Each suspect faces up to one year in jail and a fine up to $1,000.
They are scheduled to make an initial court appearance on April 10.
