(KMOV) -- The St. Louis City Police have issued an official notice to occupiers protesting in Kiener Plaza informing them that they must vacate the area by 10 p.m. or face citations.

The group started a local protest much like the one seen on Wall Street.  A few tents stood on Monday, but even more tents and more protesters showed up on Tuesday.

According to OccupySTL.org, OccupySTL is a citizen group taking a stand against greed and corruption by harnessing the power of mass occupation in an attempt to restore democracy and justice in America.

The group promises even more protests at offices and corporations, media outlets, federal agencies, financial institutions and at offices of elected officials.  No times or dates are know for the additional protests.
