(KMOV) -- On Monday, the country will pause to celebrate the birth of slain civil rights lead Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
St. Louisans are invited to march from the old courthouse, downtown, to the Powell Symphony Hall.
The march begins at 11 a.m. at 4th and Market Streets.
Residents from around the 6th ward are invited to catch a shuttle to the downtown march. Residents should meet at 1218 S. Jefferson at 10:15 a.m. to depart.
The shuttle service is provided for free so residents can bring their children to participate. The shuttle will return to the same address and snacks and refreshments will be provided.
