ALTON, Ill. (KMOV) – An Illinois state agency on Friday announced a place to help protect people’s elderly loved one from being a victim of crime.
News 4 went to Alton Friday to find out how the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office plans to curb elderly abuse.
Madison County residents were taught during a conference to recognize the signs of abuse. They also learned what steps to take should abuse be suspected.
The state’s attorney’s office has set up a website with all of the information from Friday’s conference.
