ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Community activists are tackling crime that's crippling some St. Louis neighborhoods.
Better Family Life kicked off its summer town hall meetings Tuesday night. The non-profit is bringing resources like job training directly to some of the city's most dangerous neighborhoods, all in an effort to cut crime and build communities. The non-profit's director, James Clark, said he's focusing on bringing communities back to the basics: faith, family and neighborhood.
If you missed Tuesday’s meeting, here is a list of upcoming Town Halls:
June 7: Tandy Recreation Center from 6-8 p.m.
June 12: Cote Brilliant Church from 6-8 p.m.
June 21: Jackie Joyner Kersee Center in East St. Louis from 6-8 p.m.
Two other town hall meetings are being planned for North St. Louis County, but dates are not yet set.
