Matt Sczesny

News 4 Reporter

Matt Sczesny (pronounced Says-nee) joined KMOV Channel 4 as Co-Anchor of "News 4 St. Louis Weekends" at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and 5:30 and 10:00 p.m. on Sunday. Sczesny is also a General Assignment Reporter during the week for News 4.

Prior to joining KMOV, Sczesny was an Anchor/Reporter at stations in West Palm Beach, Fla.; Binghamton, New York; Altoona, Penn.; and Long Island, New York.

In 1998, Sczesny won an Emmy award for a story featuring the first home run of St. Louis Cardinals player Mark McGwire during his record-breaking 70 home run season. And recently, in 2002, Sczesny won an Emmy award in the "Spot News" category for his "Little League Shooting" feature.

A graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, Sczesny was born in New York City.

He and his wife Cathy have two sons.
