Diana Zoga got her start in broadcasting as a 17 year old college student, moonlighting as an anchor/reporter for a low-power television station in Austin, Texas.

After three years in Austin, Diana worked for CBS and ABC affiliates in Sherman, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Diana traveled up the road to Saint Louis in 2008 to join News 4 where she currently juggles general and investigative reporting assignments.

Diana was born in New York City, but grew up in a suburb of Dallas. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe. Most of Diana's extended family still lives in the newly independent country of Kosova.

You may remember Kosova (or Kosovo) made headlines in the late 90s during a bitter war. The conflict touched Diana's family, who was feared dead for a short time. Diana became active in a movement to call attention to civilian suffering, often reaching out to the media to cover the story.

"At the time, I was desperate for information and really appreciated journalists who traveled into the war zone to uncover the truth. I really believe their work saved lives. The experience made me want to become a journalist," said Diana.

Diana speaks Albanian and some French. When she isn't spending time with her family, Diana enjoys relaxing with a good book and traveling to new places.

Diana lives in St. Louis.
