Weekday Mornings St. Louisans wake up with Andre Hepkins alongside Claire Kellett and 4 Warn Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt on News 4 This Morning from 4:30-7. For several months before assuming the morning Anchor chair in February 2012, Andre kept tabs on the local economy and business development in the city of St. Louis.
Andre may have been born and raised in New York City, but loves calling St. Louis home. He is passionate about this city and his time at Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation.
Prior to his arrival at News 4 in May 2011, Andre was an Anchor/Reporter at WSVN in Miami. Andre’s very first job in television was as a CBS Page in New York City. Answering phones, delivering scripts at CBS Evening News , and seating guests at the Late Show with David Letterman sparked his desire to be a strong story teller.
When not on the Anchor desk you can find him at the gym (he often gets teased about his guns), eating out, listening to music or watching football, baseball and martial arts.
