News 4 Reporter
Lindsay Bramson joined the KMOV team as a reporter in October 2010.
Lindsay comes to KMOV after spending 2 years at WPMI-TV in Mobile, Alabama. During her time as a reporter, Lindsay’s covered a wide range of stories. In July 2009 Lindsay covered several stories on the murders of Byrd and Melanie Billings; the prominent Florida couple known for adopting kids with special needs. Then, in April 2010 Lindsay’s second home became Orange Beach Alabama where she covered the biggest oil spill in U.S history every day for several months. She had the opportunity to fly with the coast guard on several occasions reporting from above the Deepwater Horizon site in Louisiana.
Lindsay began her reporting career at WWSB-TV in Sarasota, Florida. Originally from outside Washington, D.C, Lindsay is a 2006 graduate of Virginia Tech. During her college years, she interned at Dateline NBC in New York City, working closely with journalists like Katie Couric, Hoda Kotb and Stone Phillips.
After spending 4 years in the south, she’s traded in the beach for the snow and couldn’t be happier to be living in the mid-west. When not reporting, you can find Lindsay at the gym, eating at a good sushi restaurant or cheering on her Virginia Tech Hokies.
Lindsay is proud to be a part of the News 4 team. If you have a story idea or would like to just say hello, feel free to email Lindsay at lBramson@kmov.com.
