(KMOV.com) – A teacher at Timberland High School in the Wentzville School District may be in trouble after she allegedly mocked a student on Facebook.

French teacher Lauren Coleman Farrelly posted what appeared to be a response to a test question written by one of her students.

The student wrote a post saying “America 50 stars, 13 bars, that’s all I need. PS I don’t know any French.”

Some Facebook users mocked the student’s haircut and the tank top he was wearing. One person wrote “I know exactly which little dumpling wrote this the moment I laid my eyes on it. I’d like to punch him until he sees 50 stars. Jerk.”

"Disappointment, this is just not acceptable behavior in terms of professional behavior this is not acceptable behavior," said Wentzville Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain when asked about the post.

Cain told News 4 everyone who works in the Wentzville School District is reminded of the code of conduct every year.

Some of the posting appear to be from Farrelly and other school staff.  It is still unclear if any of the school staff will be punished.
