(KMOV.com) – St. Charles city officials have implemented a Storm Debris Hotline (636-255-6153) for St. Charles City residents needing assistance following last weekend’s storms.
Officials say the plan is designed to give residents at least one but possible two more weekends to gather and prepare debris. After that, the city will implement the pick-up schedule either the week of June 17 or June 24 depending upon contractor availability.
Mayor Sally Faith will initiate a robo-call to residents sometime next week when a date is decided on.
The one-time pick up will be free for residents citywide, and will be geared towards vegetation debris only.
In addition, the city has waived the local ordinance to ensure residents won’t be cited for parking boats and RV’s in driveways until further notice.
There is a hotline message posted on the City’s website here.
