(KMOV.com) – Officials are urging residents of St. Peters and St. Charles to conserve their water.
A conservation order was issued due to a large water main break in a water supply line from the city of St. Louis that supplies both St. Charles and St. Peters. Officials said crews are currently working to fix the break.
While the notice is in effect, those affected are asked to use water for essential purposes only. Officials are encouraging people not to water their lawn or garden, or wash their car while the consrevation order is in effect.
