(KMOV.com) -  Several car break-ins at two separate St. Louis casinos have police investigating to see if the incidents are related.

Maryland Heights Police tell News 4 personal items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the Hollywood Casino parking garage Tuesday. Police say it’s the first such report they’ve received from the casino in months. The report comes a day after St. Charles Police say a male suspect broke into several cars parked in the garage at the Ameristar Casino. Cash, electronics and personal items were all taken.

Maryland Heights Police are investigating to see if they’re after the same suspect.

“If you can relate the two crimes together, then more than likely you assume it was the same person,” said Sgt. Rich White with the Maryland Heights Police Department.

St. Charles Police are still searching for the suspect. Anyone with information that can be helpful in the case is asked to call Crimestoppers.
