(KMOV.com) -- Parents packed a Normandy School Board meeting Tuesday to get answers about the district’s choice to provide transportation to the Francis Howell School District in St. Charles County.
Some find it suspicious that Normandy would pick a district so far away for students in the unaccredited district to transfer to.
News 4 was at the meeting and asked the superintendent how the decision was made.
The question many are asking is, did the Normandy District choose Francis Howell because the distance might discourage transfers and save the district money?
You might be surprised at the answer the superintendent gave.
