The 23rd Law Enforcement and Private Security Officer Appreciation Luncheon was hosted on the St. Louis University Campus in midtown St. Louis on Thursday. Wounded Florissant officer Michael Vernon was on hand to receive honors as well as a handful of other St. Louis area officers. News 4’s Jasmine Huda hosted the ceremony, reading off the names of the honorees during the awards presentation.
