(KMOV) – A car got stuck under a semi-truck on Interstate 270 in south St. Louis County on Friday.
The car went under the side of the truck in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the Tesson Ferry Rd. exit around 6:25 a.m.
At least 10 firefighters and police officers helped cut the door off the car and pulled a man out of the vehicle. He was talking to officials but was put on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
One northbound lane of the interstate was closed while crews worked to clear the scene. Traffic was backed up to Interstate 55 at one point.
