ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Several fire crews battled a blaze that quickly engulfed a home in north St. Louis on Friday evening.
The fire started at a residence on Newstead and Maffitt, near Fairgrounds Park around 5 p.m.
The house was soon engulfed in large flames, while fire crews worked to contain the blaze.
Officials have not said what sparked the fire.
