A Metro-East man has been charged with three counts of forgery. Ryan T. Adams, 27, of Belleville, is accused of stealing numerous checks from his stepfather and forging his signature. Adams’ stepfather also reports that his old coins, jewelry, handgun and various tools were stolen. Adams has been charged with three felony counts of forgery. He is being held on $40,000 bond.
