John Bosler, 33, was charged with 2 counts of Assault 1st Degree, 1 count of Assault 2nd degree, and 3 counts of Armed Criminal Action. Bosler remains at the Jefferson County Jail on 1,000,000.00 cash only bond. John allegedly grabbed a metal pipe and struck his father multiple times in the head and torso. John then abandoned the metal pipe, went to a kitchen drawer and retrieved a butcher knife and stabbed his father once in the forearm and once in the back. The mother received a cut on her hand after the John began chasing her.
