A 49-year-old man is charged with aggravated battery after he assaulted his wife during an argument on July 24. According to police, Thomas Wieseman also restrained his 72-year-old mother-in-law from calling 911 by holding her wrist and then choking her. He is also facing domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence charges.
