THE (RIGHT) ENVELOPE—PLEASE!
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) -- It looked like a comedy bit—an awards show presenter being given the wrong envelope. But it happened last night to Aisha Tyler of “The Talk” at the Daytime Emmy Awards. She opened the envelope to announce the outstanding talk show informative winner. But Tyler realized something wasn’t right. She told the crowd: “This winner is not in this category.” Tyler had to wing it until someone brought her the right one. Tyler got a big laugh when she told the audience, “there better be a cocktail waiting” at her table. “The Dr. Oz Show” was the winner.
