EX-"SURVIVOR" PRODUCER - HAS TO STAY IN JAIL

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- That former "Survivor" producer whose wife was killed while they were on vacation in Mexico will have to learn to survive in jail in Los Angeles for a while. A judge in Los Angeles turned down his request to drop the case. Attorneys for Bruce Beresford-Redman argued that federal prosecutors did not show a reason why he should be sent to Mexico to stand trial. He's charged in Mexico with aggravated homicide. It'll probably be several months before a decision on if Beresford-Redman should be extradited to Mexico.
