BROOKE WHITE WILL STAR IN FOX TV MOVIE

NEW YORK (AP) -- Former "American Idol" 2008 contestant Brooke White is trying her hand as an actress. She will star in the upcoming TV movie "Change of Plans" with Phylicia Rashad. White plays a singer-songwriter who takes care of her best friend's four children after an accident. Randy Jackson will make a cameo. White also contributes three songs to the film's soundtrack. She has no professional acting experience. "Change of Plans" premieres January 8 on Fox.
