NEW YORK (AP) -- Funny how this timing works. James Franco is returning to "General Hospital" on the Friday before, and the Monday after, the Oscars. And, both shows are on ABC. The Oscars, which Franco is hosting with Anne Hathaway, are February 27. Franco appears occasionally on "General Hospital" as an oddball artist named Franco. He made his first appearance in that role last year, followed by an episode June 30 this year.
