KEITH URBAN - DIDN'T KNOW THE EXTENT OF HIS PROBLEM

BURBANK, Calif. (AP) -- Keith Urban is reflecting back on the first year of his marriage. Because she asked, he tells Ellen DeGeneres on her show, he wound up in rehab because he "wasn't aware of just where" his substance abuse still was in his life and "how it was just going to come down" and take him down like it did." He says he was "probably in such a place of denial" that he "consciously wasn't aware of it." Urban says "remarkably, it's beautiful" that Nicole Kidman stood by him the entire time.
