THORA BIRCH - KICKED OUT OF NEW YORK SHOW

NEW YORK (AP) -- Thora Birch will have to make her New York stage debut in some other play. She's been kicked off the cast of an off-Broadway version of "Dracula," as Count Dracula's love interest. She's been replaced by Beau Bridges' daughter, Emily Bridges. Producers of the show aren't saying why Birch was released. But The New York Times reports that Thora Birch's father and manager, Jack Birch, objected to back rubs another cast member was giving his daughter. Don't know what her father thought her of role in "American Beauty." She took her top off in that film.
