TRACE ADKINS - BOB HOPE GOLF

LA QUINTA, Calif. (AP) -- In about a month from now, Trace Adkins will be heading to the California desert, not far from Palm Springs. He'll be performing for the amateur and professional contestants of the 2011 Bob Hope Classic. Adkins' performance is set for the first day of the weeklong tournament, Monday, January 17. He's not expected to pick up clubs and play the course.
