MEL GIBSON'S MOVIE - FINALLY HAS RELEASE DATE

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- "The Beaver" finally will see the light of day. Jodie Foster's movie that stars her friend, Mel Gibson, will open in a few theaters March 23. It'll expand to more April 8. "The Beaver" had been in limbo during Gibson's custody battle with his ex-girlfriend. Jodie Foster directed "The Beaver." It's a dramedy starring Gibson as a troubled family man trying to cope with help from an unusual friend: a beaver puppet he wears on his hand. Foster also co-stars, along with Anton Yelchin and Jennifer Lawrence.
