HONG KONG, CHINA: Calvin Leung, head of the Intellectual Property Invetigation Bureau of Hong Kong's Customs & Excise Department displays 16 April some 840,000 pirated compact disks seized in a raid of an illegal CD factory. The seizure, worth a record 3.36 million US dollars, is the largest haul ever from a single storage location in Hong Kong. Of the 840,000 pirated disks, over 54,000 copies are obscene and 15 percent of the goods are believed to originate in Taiwan.
