Thousands of children are reported missing each year, but many have made it back home safe. The recent case of three kidnapped women being found in Ohio has given hope to families with missing children around the country.
Jaycee Dugard was 11 years old when she was snatched near her Tahoe, Calif., school in 1991 by Phillip and Nancy Garrido. After being held captive for 18 years and giving birth to two daughters fathered by her abductor, a convicted sex offender, Dugard was reunited with her family in 2009. Phillip Garrido was sentenced to 431 years in prison, while Nancy Garrido was sentenced to 36 years.
