Just when American Olympic fans were losing one aquatic hero in Phelps, here came 17-year-old Missy Franklin. She picked up five medals, including four gold, in her Olympics debut. Franklin still has a lot of swimming left in her and isn't quite ready to make it her profession. She's decided to stay an amateur, is swimming as a senior for her high school this year and will head to Cal in the fall.
